Disabled Season Tickets
All price bands and sale dates apply to supporters applying for a Disabled Season Ticket; we do not offer discounted prices for disabled supporters. However, if you require assistance when inside the stadium we can offer a Personal Assistant Ticket free of charge.
What help is available inside the ground on matchdays?+
We have dedicated stewards in all areas except the upper tiers at Ewood Park to provide assistance to supporters with disabilities on match days.
- Helping you in and out of the stadium and escorting you to your seat /location / toilet / kiosk / Multi-Faith room
- Assistance with the purchase of refreshments
- Safe evacuation should it be necessary
Stewards are located at the accessible entrances to the stadium (all four corners) and can be identified by their blue bibs. You should tell the Steward as you enter the ground of any help required during the match and where you are located in the ground.
Who can apply for an Assistant Ticket?+
You can apply to our Assisted Supporters Scheme if the help you need inside the ground on a match day is more than our stewards can give. Assistant tickets are not available for children under 11 years of age.
I don’t need any help inside the ground, but I need help getting to Ewood. Does this qualify me for an assistant ticket?+
No. Assistant Tickets are issued as a reasonable adjustment under the Equality Act 2010 on the basis that help is needed inside the stadium. Getting to the ground is not taken into consideration.
Can the assistant ticket be used without the disabled Season Ticket?+
No. Assistants who attend a match without the disabled supporter being present will need to purchase a ticket from the Ticket Office before entering the ground as the Assistant Ticket will not be valid. Any abuse of this may see both Season Tickets withdrawn.
Can I sit anywhere with a disabled Season Ticket?+
With the exception of wheelchair / scooter users who are not able to transfer to a stand seat, supporters whether with or without an assistant can choose to sit anywhere in the stadium but some areas will be more suitable than others. All applications for tickets in the upper tiers will be subject to a risk assessment in the interests of the safety of all supporters.
